April 16th, 2018

Join members of the St Lukes Environmental Protection Society (STEPS) for the community planting at Roy Clements Treeway, Meola Creek. This year we will extend the wetland planting at the southern end.  Come along with your family and friends for a couple of hours of planting and help improve the native biodiversity of the area.

When: Saturday 19 May 2018 at 10.30 am

Where to meet: Kerr Taylor Reserve end of Treeway, 35 Fergusson Ave, Mt Albert

What to bring: Sunhat, sunblock, raincoat, water bottle, gardening gloves and a spade, if you have them.

For further information contact us via our website. If it rains, we will post an update on the STEPS website.

Our rain day will be Sunday 20th May. Thanks to Albert-Eden Local Board for their ongoing support.

NEIGHBOURS’ DAY – Sunday 29 April rain or shine

April 13th, 2018

3pm-5pm  @ KERR TAYLOR RESERVE (end of Fergusson Ave)

LAST CHANGE OF DATE / CHANGE OF STRATEGY

Due to the consistent bad weather this weekend we have decided to postpone the Neighbour’s Day event to a final date –  Sunday 29 April from 3-5pm. This is a rain or shine date as we plan for a garage BBQ at  no 33.

If the weather is nice we can put a bouncy castle up last minute and we can  move into the sun.

Hope to see you all on Sunday 29th rain or shine, bring chairs, drinks, salads and desserts, cutlery, plates and glasses, maybe some rugs for the kids to play some games.

Your organising team Liz, Pat, June, Mike, Ricky and Ellen

Please contact us via this site if any questions.

Sat 14th April cancellations due to weather

April 13th, 2018

STEPS will cancel the working bee this month due to bad weather.    Also the picnic cannot go ahead on that day. Please watch this space for a new date – either Sunday or later this month.  Apologies to all and hoping for some fine weather soon.
